The only criticism I have for my last dining experience was that our waitress seemed disinterested.

Dining at La Bufala was an ok experience. I found the food to be average tasting, especially for the price. We dined as a group and had two starters, two pizzas, two pastas, and two desserts to share. We left hungry. I could not taste the … More

La Bufala was such a let down. I ordered the Pizza Rick and it was actually a tasty pizza, although they’re not very generous with the toppings at all. As you can see most slices only had 2-3 small slices of Italian sausage while one slice … More

Casual Italian eatery that is very popular. Portions are good and the prices are standard. What makes this place special is you have visibility on how pizza is made from scratch. The kitchen is not open plan, but you can see snippets of … More

Got high expectations for the beef and was disappointed. The beef was fine, but definitely not worth $60. It ordered medium and it came a bit more toward well done. … More

I’ve been to this restaurant before but never tried their tiramisu until now. Both versions are delicious!!! The classic one is perfectly balanced while the pistachio version is rich and unique (a touch sweeter than I’d usually go for, but still enjoyable). The packaging is neat and secure. More

A pleasant and reliable spot at the Mascot Central retail precinct. La Bufala, pizza and gnocchi bar offers a nice range of traditional favourites with a strong European feel, simple, comforting food done well.
The one-size pizza concept works nicely, with plenty of options across classic tomato-based sauces, no sauce pizzas, European-style toppings, as well as vegetarian and vegan choices. The gnocchi is hearty and satisfying, and everything is well flavoured without trying too hard to be flashy.
Service is friendly and relaxed, making it an easy place to drop in for a casual meal. While it doesn’t replace my much-loved local Murano Italian, it’s a solid option when I’m in the area and want something familiar, tasty, and unfussy.

I had the Bufala pizza and it was honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve had. The crust was perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside but still soft and airy inside. The buffalo mozzarella tasted really fresh and creamy, and the tomato sauce … More

I tried the Margherita pizza and the gnocchi, and both were amazing. The Margherita pizza was simple but done perfectly — the crust was light and crispy, the tomato sauce tasted fresh, and the mozzarella melted really nicely. It shows that when the ingredients are good, you don’t need a lot on a pizza for it to taste incredible.
The gnocchi was also really good. The dumplings were soft and fluffy, not heavy like some places make them, and the sauce paired perfectly with it. Everything tasted fresh and properly made.
Overall the food felt really authentic and high quality. Definitely a 10/10 experience and I’d happily come back again.

A friend of mine asked me to join him to try this restaurant out. I’m so happy I did. From first dish to dessert, I could not fault any of the dishes. The gnocchi are to die for, especially the Prawn ones. The only thing that I didn’t like is when the waitress comes around and picks up your empty dish straight after you have put your cutlery down, making you feel like you have to rush and get up. Other thank that, i can’t fault it.

Visited for weekday dinner, arrived around 6 and only outdoor table available. For indoor seating area, reservation is recommended.
Meatball and Gnocchi pesto is quite bland. The flavours of tomato, basil, nuts does not stand out in the sauces.
Pizza and chilli oil is the winner. The pizza dough has really nice texture.

Overall a good experience. Not amazing, but good nonetheless.
Stand out for me personally was the arancini. The pizza was pretty lacklustre. The gnocchi was alright though.
Expect to spend around $40-50 per person if you’re going to be ordering one main and one entree. Plus more for drinks.

Staying in an airport hotel I wanted a quick but delicious meal in what seems like a food desert. But close by ,I found La Bufala, and what a joy! Staff were attentive, the space was open and bustling, and the menu was vast. The wood fired pizzas looked amazing but we settled on the house specialty of Gnocchi. These did not disappoint. The pillows were incredibly soft, the portions generous, the ragu tasted as though it had been simmered for hours and the pesto beautifully verdant, fragrant & deliciously balanced. Accompanied by a glass of Montepulciano and finished with a palate cleansing lemon gelato, this was a delightful meal. Next time the pizza! The only problem is in deciding on what to eat. it could be noisy when fully packed, but go early or sit outside if that's not to your liking.

Good pizza, decent pasta, their signature Gnocchi was a touch too soft and lacks the chewiness that I like, the sauce was good tho. Plenty of seats suitable all group size, the service is good even though the restaurant was super busy.

Solid place for pizza. Place was spacious and had many seats. Staff was friendly, attentive and service was very quick. Ordered their bufala and prosciutto pizza. It had very thin crust and cheesy chewy dough. The procisustto was tasty, had a great aged taste. Place also had a great selection of Australian and Italian wines.

La Bufala Homemade Gnocchi and Pizza Bar delivered one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We started with the tuna carpaccio, which was incredibly fresh and the perfect light entrée to kick things off.
For the mains, the homemade potato gnocchi was a standout! Softest gnocchi with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The carbonara was another highlight, rich and perfectly balanced just like in Italy! I also tried the truffle, mushroom, and prosciutto pizza, cooked in a wood fired oven. The crust was super light, and the toppings worked so well together. (There’s heaps of pizza options to choose from!)
We finished with tiramisu: both the classic and the salted caramel. The layers of thick mascarpone and beautifully soaked ladyfingers made it the perfect sweet ending.
La Bufala is ideal for a shared dining experience so you can taste a bit of everything on the menu. Highly recommend!
